Dinner Review: Les Chefs de France

Updated: Aug 19, 2020

I had the opportunity to eat a three course meal with my mother-in-law at Les Chefs de France this past March, and it was easily one of the best meals I've had in Disney World thus far. Here's my review of this restaurant, including ambiance, service, food, and price point.

Service

At this point, I've eaten at plenty of sit-down restaurants in Disney World to compare the service from one restaurant to another. The service at Chefs de France was incredible. Our water glasses were never empty, our waiter asked us if we were ready for our next course (I've honestly never been asked this before..anyone else?), and our waiter was also very polite and attentive to our table. The service here is the best I've experienced in all of Disney World; and in my opinion, this should be the standard across all restaurants in the Disney parks.

Price Point

We got the Prix Fixe meal, which included an Appetizer, Entree, and Dessert, and it was $39.99 per person. If you aren't a huge three-course meal person and you just want to order an entree, you're looking at about $20-$35 per person. If you're on a Disney dining plan, this restaurant is worth 1 Table Service Credit.

Atmosphere

Located in France at Epcot, Chefs de France is a beautiful, yet simply-decorated restaurant. It has floor to ceiling windows that bring in natural light and allow you to enjoy the sights of the World Showcase. You can dress in a cocktail dress or you can wear your Mickey Ears to dine here, as there is no dress-code.

Food

For my three courses at Chefs de France, I ordered: French Onion Soup, Beef Bourguignon, and the Tarte aux Pommes. The soup was the best French Onion I've ever had in my life, and the beef was tender and flavorful. I was so full by the time dessert came, but it was super tasty! The apple tart came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and homemade caramel sauce. My mouth is watering as I type this. This has been one of my absolute favorite meals that I've ever eaten in Disney World. It's on the same caliber as Cinderella's Royal Table!

In Summary

I have eaten at many Table Service restaurants around the Walt Disney World Resort, and I've never experienced better service than what we received at Chefs de France. In addition to the amazing service, it was easy to get a dinner reservation, and the food did not disappoint. If you can splurge, I would get the Prix Fixe meal! It's a great deal, and I liked being able to try two different salty items off of the menu. I cannot wait to eat here in the future!
